This document describes how to import or include a previously posted project (either from Production or from the Share) into a different solution.

[edit] Importing a Posted or Shared Project

To import a posted or shared project:

  1. Select the solution into which you want to import the posted project.
  2. Click the Modify Dependencies button on the toolbar.
  3. On the left of the Modify Dependencies dialog that appears, choose whether you want to import a project from one of the DesignGroups to which you have SuperAdmin rights (available on the Production tab), or whether you want to import a project from the Share (select the Share tab).
    1. If you chose Production above, expand the DesignGroup containing the project you want to import, then expand the solution containing the project, then select the project and proceed to step 4 below.
    2. If you chose Share above, you can either use the Search option (type the name of the project into the text box, then click Search), or order the list of shared items by column type, then make your selection and proceed to step 4 below.
  4. Click the arrow button [>>] to move the project to the right.
  5. On the right side of the Modify Dependencies dialog, in the drop-down box in the Type column, select Import.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Projects to be Imported dialog that appears, verify that you have selected the posted projects you want to import, then click OK.
  8. The posted project you imported is now a project within your current solution.

[edit] Including a Posted or Shared Project

To include a posted or shared project:

  1. Select the solution in which you want to include the posted project.
  2. Click the Modify Dependencies button on the toolbar.
  3. On the left of the Modify Dependencies dialog, choose whether you want to import a project from one of the DesignGroups to which you have SuperAdmin rights (available on the Production tab), or whether you want to import a project from the Share (select the Share tab).
    1. If you chose Production above, expand the DesignGroup containing the project you want to import, then expand the solution containing the project, then select the project and proceed to step 4 below.
    2. If you chose Share above, you can either use the Search option (type the name of the project into the text box, then click Search), or order the list of shared items by column type, then make your selection and proceed to step 4 below.
  4. Click the arrow button [>>] to move the project to the right.
  5. On the right side of the Modify Dependencies dialog, in the drop-down box in the Type column, select Include.
  6. Click OK.
  7. The posted project you selected is now included within your current solution.

[edit] Using an Included Project

The objects in the included project can be accessed when selecting a site (for example, when selecting a Type for a field).

To use an included project:

  1. In the Property Editor, click the ellipsis [...] button next to the Type property.
  2. In the dialog box that's displayed, click the Dependencies tab.
  3. With the Dependencies tab selected, scroll to the bottom of the top pane. Included projects will show up after the BungeeRuntime project types.
  4. Select the desired object. Click OK.
