There are several procedures for updating your account settings.

[edit] Updating Your Username and Contact Information

To change username and contact information

1. On the main Bungee Builder page, click the Preferences tab.
2. In the Account Preferences pane (the top area of the tab), next to Preferences, click Edit. The Builder displays the Preference dialog box.
3. To make changes, type the new information in the text box or select from the drop-down menu:
   1. Username—This is the name you use to log in. By default, the username is your email address. You can change the username to anything you like but the system requires that the username be unique.
   2. Nickname—Your nickname identifies you in the Q & A Knowledgebase and in the Documentation Wiki (your nickname is used as the author name if you create or change any wiki pages).
   3. Email Address—This is the email address by which Bungee will contact you, as per the Contact Preference, below.
      

      Note, to confirm your email address, click this link, then follow the instructions.

   4. Contact Preference—Select the circumstances under which Bungee should contact you. Choose between All Bungee updates, Urgent updates only, and Only if there is a problem with my account.
   5. Email Format—Select the format of email received from Bungee. Choose between HTML and Plaintext only.
   6. Time Zone—Select the time zone from where you work with Bungee the majority of the time.
4. Click OK.

[edit] Changing Your Email Status to Confirmed

To change your email address status from Unconfirmed to Confirmed:

1. On the main Bungee Builder page, click the Preferences tab.
2. In the Account Preferences pane (the top area of the tab), next to Preferences, click Edit. The Builder displays the Preference dialog box.
3. To change your email address status to Confirmed, click Get Code.
4. When you receive your code (via email), type the code in the text box and click Submit Code.
5. After the code is validated, your email address status is updated to Confirmed.

To change your password

1.  On the main Bungee Builder page, click the Preferences tab.
2. In the Account Preferences pane (the top area of the tab), next to Password, click Change. The Builder displays the Change Password dialog box.
3. Next to Enter your Current Password, type your current password.
4. Next to Choose a New Password, type the new password.
5. Next to Confirm your New Password, type the new password again.
6. Click OK.

[edit] Changing Your Security Question

To change your security Question

1.  On the main Bungee Builder page, click the Preferences tab.
2. In the Account Preferences pane (the top area of the tab), next to Security Question, click Change. The Builder displays the Change Security Question dialog box.
3. In the drop-down box next to Security Question, choose one of the options avaiable.
4. Next to Security Answer, type your answer.
5. Click OK.

[edit] Changing the Report Period for Builder Usage and Statistics

Note this feature is not yet fully implemented.

To change the report period

1. On the main Bungee Builder page, click the Preferences tab.
2. Expand the Builder Usage and Statistics pane.
3. In the Report Period drop-down box, click the arrow and then choose from the various options:

• Past 24 Hours (Default)
• Past 7 Days
• Past 30 Days
• Past 120 Days
• Last Whole Week
• Last Whole Month
• Last Whole Quarter
• Last Whole Year

You can both reorder tabs, and choose which tabs to display or hide.

[edit] Reordering Tabs

To Reorder Tabs

1. At the top of the Bungee Builder, click the Preferences tab.
2. Expand the Builder Tab Preferences pane.
3. In the Displayed Tabs pane, select a tab name with your mouse pointer, then click and drag the tab name to the position in the list corresponding to the order in which you want the tabs to appear at the top of the Builder.
4. Click Appy Changes. Your new preference should take affect.

[edit] Changing a Tab's Visibility

To change a tab's visibility

1. At the top of the Bungee Builder, click the Preferences tab.
2. Expand the Builder Tab Preferences pane.
3. In either the Displayed Tabs or Hidden Tabs lists, select a tab name with your mouse pointer, then click and drag the tab name to the opposite list.
4. Click Appy Changes. Your new preference should take affect.
