Description (Field)

Use the Type property to specify the data type for a field.

To change the data type of a field, click the ellipsis button [...] and use the Select Class dialog to select a new data type.

Description (Log Message)

 Use the Type property to specify where you want the information recorded.

This property provides you with a drop-down list containing the following destinations:

Dialog	The information is presented in a dialog only.
Log	The information is recorded to the event log only.
Both	The information is presented in a dialog AND recorded in the event log.
